THE COMPANY
|
The United Agencies group - comprising The United Agencies Pte Ltd, Carpets & Furnishings, Heritage Carpets and Alpha Interiors Sdn Bhd - was established in 1936, and the passage of time has seen us grow from strength to strength.
The United Agencies group is principally owned and controlled by the Kashyap family. Today, we are one of the largest carpet companies in Singapore, with dedicated staff of 50 people providing world class service to more than 500 clients throughout Asia and the Asia - Pacific region.
With a paid-up capital and reserves of S$15 million, the Company has nett assets and resources of over S$60 Million. Our main Bankers in Singapore are The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC). |

COMPANY STRENGTH

We carry a wide variety and substantial stocks of soft floor coverings and carpet accessories in Singapore, which we are able to supply promptly to customers who require carpets urgently within a short time.
Due to our long experience in the carpet field, we are also able to source suitable carpets for clients from all over the world on an indenting basis, with reasonable delivery times.
We are one of the largest carpet-focused companies in the Far East and we are the only interior furnishing stockists in Singapore who focus exclusively on floor coverings and accessories. |

ACTIVITIES

specialize in importing, exporting, stocking and installing
all types of soft floor coverings from all over the
world.
Our main imports come from Belgium, Egypt, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan,
UK, and USA.
The bulk of our business comes from exports to countries
such as Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Fiji,
Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia,
Mauritius, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea,
Philippines, Seychelles Islands, Sri Lanka, Taiwan,
Thailand and Vietnam.
The encouraging progress we have made in this area is
reflected by our inclusion as a "MAJOR EXPORTER" under
the Singapore Government's GST Major Exporter Scheme
(MES).
